Cladosporium sp. Isolate as Fungal Plant Growth Promoting Agent

نویسندگان

چکیده

Cladosporium species are active in protecting plants against different biotic and abiotic stresses. Since these produced a wide range of secondary metabolites responsible for the adaptation to new habitats, plant health performance, they great interest, especially biostimulants agriculture. sp. produces protein hydrolysates (PHs), class biostimulants, by cultivation on medium with keratin wastes (feathers) as carbon energy sources. The aim this study was select isolate potential be used growth promoting agent. characteristics isolates were evaluated through several tests, such as: antagonism versus pathogens, effect secreted volatiles isolates, secretion hydrolytic enzymes, production 3-indole acetic acid, zinc phosphorous solubilization, capacity promote tomato seedlings (pot experiments). T2 presented positive results all tests. Encouraging obtained treating PHs from cultured supplemented 1% (w/w) chicken feathers, which parameters, stem weight, height, root weight significantly higher 65%, 32%, 55%, respectively, compared those treated water.

Identification of Volatiles Produced by Cladosporium cladosporioides CL-1, a Fungal Biocontrol Agent That Promotes Plant Growth

Certain microbial Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) have been reported to enhance the growth and development of plants. The biocontrol fungi, Cladosporium cladosporioides CL-1 significantly improved the growth of tobacco seedlings in vitro when they were co-cultivated without physical contact. SPME Quadrupole GC/MS/MS revealed that CL-1 emited the volatiles α-pinene, (-)-trans-caryophyllene, te...

Draft Genome Sequence of Plant Growth-Promoting Rhizobacterium Pantoea sp. Strain AS-PWVM4

Nonpathogenic Pantoea spp. have been shown to confer biofertilizer and biocontrol activities, indicating their potential for increasing crop yield. Herein, we provide the high-quality genome sequence of Pantoea sp. strain AS-PWVM4, a Gram-negative motile plant growth-promoting rhizobacterium isolated from a pomegranate plant. The 4.9-Mb genome contains genes related to plant growth promotion an...

Draft Genome Sequence of a Natural Root Isolate, Bacillus subtilis UD1022, a Potential Plant Growth-Promoting Biocontrol Agent

Bacillus subtilis, which belongs to the phylum Firmicutes, is the most widely studied Gram-positive model organism. It is found in a wide variety of environments and is particularly abundant in soils and in the gastrointestinal tracts of ruminants and humans. Here, we present the complete genome sequence of the newly described B. subtilis strain UD1022. The UD1022 genome consists of a 4.025-Mbp...

Evaluation of multiple plant growth promoting traits of an isolate of Pseudomonas fluorescens strain Psd.

P. fluorescens strain Psd was isolated from the rhizosphere of Vigna mungo and evaluated for its multiple plant growth promoting and biocontrol properties against F. oxyspornum. Interestingly, this strain not only produces a range of antimicrobial compounds but also solubilizes complexed phosphates and synthesizes phytohormone (IAA). These properties can be assessed to elucidate the agronomic s...

Plant growth-promoting bacteria as inoculants in agricultural soils.

Plant-microbe interactions in the rhizosphere are the determinants of plant health, productivity and soil fertility. Plant growth-promoting bacteria (PGPB) are bacteria that can enhance plant growth and protect plants from disease and abiotic stresses through a wide variety of mechanisms; those that establish close associations with plants, such as the endophytes, could be more successful in pl...
